| Piedmont Bass Classics & Team Crappie Results June 19, 2010...Falls Lake~Ledge Rock Wildlife Ramp Team Bass Division Results Another great day for fishing at Falls Lake! The air temps were hot and so was the bite! We had 21 teams for the team bass division that weighed in 59 bass for a total weight of right at 200 pounds! At blastoff, air temps were around 72 and at weighin they were about 95 and boy was it humid! Water temps ranged from mid 80's on the lower end to low 90's on the upper end. Winds were light and variable. Hot lures for the day were slow-rolled spinnerbaits, crankbaits, c and texas rigs. Bass are now getting to where they should be with the water temps as such, 8 to 16' of water on river channel structure. We are still waiting for that 30 pound bag and it shouldn't be long. 2 over 7 lbs. were weighed in and the bass were very healthy looking. The anglers did a great job of keeping them alive too!
