| Piedmont Bass Classics & Team Crappie Results May 1, 2010...Falls Lake~Ledge Rock Wildlife Ramp Team Bass Division.... Another great day to fish Falls! Air temps from 59 to 92, water temps to 75 degrees and winds from 4 to 15! Nice, pretty day! 28 teams showed up for a great day of fishing and fun! 74 bass were weighed in totalling 250 lbs. in weight. Big fish was 8.64 lbs.! Bass were caught in shallow to 8 feet of water on everything from topwater to plastics. The fish were biting and it looks as if the spawn is over. RIDGECREST BAPTIST CHURCH'S OUTDOOR MINISTRIES PROGRAM sponsored this one with a $500 cash 1st prize bonus! Coffee and bisquits were served to the anglers in the morning and after the event they put on a hot dog cookout for all the anglers and their immediate family. 2 Abu Revo reels and Falcon rod combos worth $200 each, were given away, by drawing, to 2 lucky anglers and drawings for Zebco rod and reel combos were given away to family members.
