| Piedmont Bass Classics & Team Crappie Results November 7, 2010...Falls Lake~Ledge Rock Wildlife Ramp Team Bass Division Results 8 teams competed, in this final event for 2010, for the $500 first place prize on this frosty cold day at Falls Lake. The air temps ranged from 30 to 54 with winds from 0 in the am to constant 10 mph in the afternoon, and the water temps averaged 61 degrees. 19 bass were weighed in that totaled 43 pounds. Most of the fish were caught in shallow to 6' of water on mainly jigs. Most of the fish were found on rocky bottoms with laydown timber. Not a bad bite for this 'first freeze night' of the year. This tournament was sponsored by JAY GARRARD PLUMBING and JAY GARRARD FISHING GUIDE SERVICE, both based in Durham. Jay donated $200 in cash to give to the 1st place team winners as a bonus to their regular 1st place winnings.
