| Piedmont Bass Classics & Team Crappie Results October 10, 2010...Falls Lake~Ledge Rock Wildlife Ramp Team Bass Division Results 11 teams competed for the $575 first place prize on this beautiful day at Falls Lake. The air temps ranged from 50 to 85 with little or no wind, and the water temps averaged 70 degrees. Only 24 bass were weighed in that only totaled 54 pounds. Most of the fish were caught in shallow to 8' of water on Deep Creek Razor Beetles rigged Texas style, spinnerbaits and crankbaits. This is typical at this lake in the fall. The lake seems to be 'turning over' and with a great abundance of shad around, the bite is just slow. The anglers, again, did a great job of keeping the fish alive! Good job ya'll !!
